I often find myself reaching for the silver thread when designing lace for new bridal jewelry--silver has a light and delicate feel that complements many bridal gowns. But every once in awhile I enjoy a chance to utilize the richness of gold in my designs. Here are a few golden pieces that I've been working on recently...

It features an intricate circular pendant stitched with pearls and suspended from a lushly beaded gold-filled chain.

* These dramatic bridal earrings were custom-designed for a lovely client in Australia. They were created to match her beautiful lace wedding gown.

The pendants are paved with dozens of freshwater pearls...

The gold settings for the rhinestones add a hint of richness and contrast to the design. I love creating mixed-metal pieces and more and more brides have been requesting this option lately.
