How to Wear: Swimwear as Outerwear

Here @ Motel it’s no secret that we love gyals with skills and creativity! We asked four blogger babes to take up the ultimate style challenge: styling swimwear as outerwear for autumn/winter 2014! The results were totally amaze; these gals totally rocked this challenge (if we do say so ourself!).

1. Emily Cocklin

She’s the girl with cool, sleek sartorial fashion. For Emily’s first look, she styled our Rio Swimsuit for an uber casual everyday kinda look, wearing a heavy biker jacket and her Dad’s oversized shirt as a skirt, adding texture and making a high fashion statement! To finish off her look Emily wears a wide brim hat and super smart, super comfy loafers! We LOVE this look!

Taking it from slick day wear to evening glam, Emily wears a matching co-ord suit in metallic. This look perfectly compliments our Rio Swimsuit and is guaranteed to make heads turn. Metallic is perfect for the upcoming party season, minimal accessories lets the outfit do all the talking.

2. Charlotte Fisher

If minimal and monochrome style isn’t your thang, then Charlotte Fisher is your gal! Her sweet, colourful and elegant style totally suited our Loe Strappy Bikini Top. Charlotte knows her stuff when it comes to layering, pairing our bikini top with a sheer yellow kimono and a cute grey corduroy set with a matching print of the bikini inside the lining. The pop of colour really makes Charlotte’s outfit fresh and fun for Autumn/Winter!

3. Em Davies

Em Davies brought her fun, unique and quirky style to the challenge. Em Wears our Gingham Leena Halterneck Swimsuit with chunky boots and super sexy suspenders. We love the monochromatic look with the oversized white shades and patent leather hat!

4. Wadsyboo

Wadsyboo A.K.A Nadia Sophie totally rocked this challenge, wearing our Moondust Swimsuit. Transitioning it from the poolside to 90′s grunge. Layering is key with any look and Wadsyboo shows us how it’s done by adding texture and print, finishing off the look with statement jewellery and mirrored shades.

For her second look, Wadsyboo creates an effortless autumnal look by styling the Moondust Swimsuit with a checked cape (a key piece for autumn/winter) and vintage-inspired mom jeans. Wadsyboo’s outfit is on point, we’re especially loving the Timberlands and bindi!!
