Ode to 90′s Fashion Icons

Not only are we obsessed with the iconic looks of the ’90s style, but we’re taking a hot minute to bring back our favorite faces of the decade. From the singers we idolized and the T.V. characters that we splashed across the front of our Lisa Frank binders and folders,, these girls will make you dig up your old choker necklaces, crop tops, and babydoll dresses. Prepare for some major style inspiration coming your way.

Kate Moss

The gorgeous model might as well be the face of ’90s high fashion. She walked the runways for some of the most iconic designers, and embodies ’90s babe to the fullest. While we are still huge fans of Kate Moss today, we can’t help but love seeing her during these glory-filled days.

Spice Girls

All this British girl group wanted to do was zig-a-zig ah. While we are still unsure what that really means, the Spice Girls remain one of the world’s greatest girl groups. Whether you saw yourself as more of a Sporty Spice or Posh Spice, there was something for everyone. Who could forget their towering platform shoes, metallic colors, and wild prints? Fashion icons for life.

Cher Horowitz

Cher was the ultimate ’90s girl who believed it was never a bad thing to have too many clothes and was not prude, but highly selective. Her ensembles were always way awesome, like her yellow plaid blazer and matching skirt. Her talents include rolling with the homies and rocking a headband like it’s nobody’s business.

TLC

We know not to get with any scrubs thanks to the badass girls in TLC. They were one of the original groups to rock matching cropped tops, strappy bralettes, and baggy pants and let’s be honest – they looked amazing doing it. With soulful voices, they will forever live on just like some of their other classics, “Unpretty” and “Waterfalls”.

Clarrisa

This smart and sassy T.V. character made being a teenager seem way cool. We nodded our heads in agreeance while she complained about her brother, boy troubles, and homework (seriously… she just got us!). Plus, her bright and mis-matched fashion sense is where we first discovered that combat boots go great with just about anything.

The Olsen Twins

Raise your hand if you wanted a twin because of these two! From the time Mary Kate and Ashley were babies on Full House, we’ve watched them in all of their T.V. shows and movies, bought all their books, and bought hundreds of choker necklaces thanks to this dynamic duo. These two have been killing it in fashion since adolescence, and we still look to Mary Kate and Ashley for style inspiration.

Alright, now that we have got you obsessing over all things ’90s, don’t forget to stop by our ’90s inspired styles so you can look as cool as the girls you idolized growing up.
