Tyra Banks launches beauty line: TYRA Beauty

The other day I heard that Tyra Banks has recently came out with her own makeup line, called TYRA Beauty. Even though I know that Tyra is quite the business woman, I didn’t expect this from her. Of course it’s not a real surprise when a former super model comes out with a beauty line, but for some reason I tought Tyra wasn’t interested in doing something like this. If she was, wouldn’t she start her own line years ago? Anyway, I did some googling and found some more information on it. Because it’s pretty hilarious, I thought I’d share!

Tyra says that her company will focus on ’Beautytainment’ – where beauty and entertainment collide. It’s ‘all about Beauty. Business. Badassery.’

So why did she create a new makeup line? In a statement about her products, Tyra said ‘I believe makeup is the great beauty equalizer’ She added, ‘Without makeup, I would have never been a supermodel. I don’t wake up with naturally sculpted cheekbones – I paint them on!’

Here are the 3 pillars to TYRA Beauty, according to Tyra:

TYover: The TYover pillar introduces easy-to-use products “in a Stick” for a fierce face…fast! I don’t know yet where the products will be sold, but I’m going to try to get my hands on ‘Oops Liner’ to review for your guys! I’m ready to Smize! LOL!
