{Beauty} Three Affordable Favourites

I love luxury products as much as the next girl — and I never feel more alive than when traipsing through the aisles of Sephora — but getting the look for less is mighty satisfying. That's why I couldn't resist showing you three affordable go-tos that are quickly gaining dupe status for some of my higher-end favourites... Be sure to let me know what dupes you're turning to these days, and let the money saving begin!

THE BODY SHOP CAMOMILE SILKY CLEANSING OIL ($16): I was extremely skeptical that any cleansing oil could come close to the majesty that is Shu Emura, but after so many beauty bloggers endorsed TBS's camomile offering, there was no way I wasn't going to at least try it. Turns out they were right; this stuff cleanses like a mo fo, removing every last bit of mascara and leaving skin soft and, as the name would suggest, silky. I've been using this one nightly and will continue to do so to conserve my Shu bottle for as long as possible. #feelingsavey

RIMMEL LONDON SCANDALEYES EYELINER ($4): If you want a brightening liner for your waterline, you gotta pick up a nude. The idea of it scared me at first, but it really does make your eyes look bigger and more alert, which is perfect for those of us who are perpetually sleep deprived. Seriously though, this and some Visine could be your best friend! If you're curious about nude eyeliners, I would recommend picking up an inexpensive drugstore version first, and this one from Rimmel London is pretty rad. It's cheap, waterproof and easy to apply... No need to shell out for a MAC or NARS version right away (which run between $16 and $28) — ease in, ladies.

REVLON SUPER LUSTRIOUS LIPSTICK IN FIRE & ICE ($9): If you're looking for a good orange-red for summer, look no further. This lipstick reminds me of NARS' Heat Wave in terms of colour, only slightly more amplified and a lot creamier. And although there's no replacing Heat Wave in my heart (it's my all-time favourite lipstick), this one's a pretty good alternative. There are a lot of great colours in this range though, so you're bound to find what you're looking for without shelling out the big bucks... happy shopping!
