{Beauty} August Favourites
It's that time again, friends — who's ready for some monthly favourites?! I've got a few good ones that I've been enjoying this month, so check out the rundown below, and be sure to let me know what your faves have been! #enabling
I'll give it to you quick this month: If you're in the market for some amazing hair care/heat protection/miracle working, you have to give Bumble and Bumble's Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Primer a go. You've heard it all before, so I'll leave it at miracle worker.
And speaking of miracle workers, I've been turning to Bobbi Brown's Skin Foundation SPF 15 most mornings, finished off with Urban Decay's All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. This combo makes my skin look dewy, but also keeps things in place for the most part (extreme heat notwithstanding). Totally worth it.
When I'm taking it all off, I'm all about The Body Shop's Camomile Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover (and Bioderma, of course). It gets off every last stitch of waterproof mascara (hurray!) while still being gentle and soothing to the eyes. People have been comparing it to the Clarin's waterproof eye makeup remover — which has a cult following of its own — if that's any indication. There's good stuff here, ladies (and cheeeap!).
For keeping the ol' brows in check, I've been completely dependent on Tweezerman tweezers. Up until a few months ago, I had been using the same pair I've had since high school, wondering why plucking my eye brows was such an ordeal. These bad boys are a total game changer — if you're needing a new pair of tweezers, seriously, look no further. And best pre-fall moody nail colour? Hands down, 'Jezebel' from Marc Jacobs... vampy to the max, with a great formula to boot. #truth
