Aussie Curves – Animalistic

I’m living out of a suitcase at the moment, back in Melbourne. I didn’t think to pack ahead with Aussie Curves, and thought i’d have to sit this week out. That was until I remembered this dress, it’s covered in owls! That’s totally animalistic! Owls happen to be in my top 5 favourite animals and I have quite a collection of owl ornaments.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is my Black Milk midnight owl skater dress & I loooove it. This was my first BM skater and I fear i’m addicted. For those wanting to know sizing, this is the old cut, a size XL. I’m excited about the new cut because what I can tell it will sit better and be longer at the back.

I can wear this dress without leggings, but I was heading into Melbourne city to meet up with Vanessa, and I didn’t want to spend the day pulling down the dress, worrying I may have flashed someone. These also aren’t the shoes I started out with, but ones I picked up at Big W after my other shoes had pretty much destroyed my little toes.

Dress – Black Milk | Cardigan – Suzanne Grae | Leggings – Crossroads | Shoes – Big W | Belt – Dorothy Perkins

It was so amazing meeting Vanessa for the first time. We’ve been online buddies for years now & i’m she is just as darling in real life, as online. I also love how easy i’m finding it to get around Melbourne. It’s a little hard at home in Sydney without a car, & I get a bit of anxiety on Sydney trains, I won’t even step foot on a Sydney bus. But here in Melbourne, i’m catching buses and trains no problems. The more time I spend in Melbourne, the more I seem to fall in love with it.
