Ageing over tea

“We start to age when we finish learning”

A friend in Paris sent this postcard to me following a discussion about our lives as ageing students and I cannot help but hope it’s true. My ever-increasing wrinkles disagree but I appreciate the sentiment (and her kind words on the reverse). Emails are so convenient but I’m a big believer in ‘proper’ post – pretty, handwritten cards with meaningful words from those dear to me.
