Yellow Daisy

It’s time for Happy Hour.

I had a little tiny bit of Grand Marnier left (thanks to the special dessert I’ll be posting next week) but I couldn’t stand the thought of just guzzling it. After some totally intensive internet research, I found a recipe that 1.) used a half ounce of Grand Marnier 2.) I didn’t have to buy extra booze for.

This cocktail is called Yellow Daisy. It was supposedly invented by Richard Clarke, a cowboy who was the supposed inspiration for a popular dime novel series called “Deadwood Dick.” Supposedly.

For 1 cocktail (via):

  • 1 oz. gin
  • 1/2 oz. dry vermouth
  • 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier

Stir ingredients with ice; strain into a cocktail glass.
