Tutorial: How To Get The Most Natural (But Groomed) Eyebrows Ever

I wanna share a quick, updated brow routine using my recently mentioned favourite, Annabelle Skinny Brow Liner. In this tutorial I am using it in shade Universal Medium, and you’re also going to need a clean mascara wand or spoolie. I’ve been seeing a lot of outlined brows on Instagram, and while it probably looks okay from far away, it’s doesn’t usually look natural when you’re seeing people face-to-face IRL. So here’s an option if you want to fill in your brows, but it doesn’t look like you really filled them in. A your-brows-but-better tutorial, if you will.

  1. Start with your naked brows. Breathe. It’s okay, you can do this!
  2. With the pencil, start at the highest point of the arch along the top of your brow and fill in the sparse areas.
  3. The hairs at the inner corner of my brows grow in a jagged line, so I draw a guide in a straight line to mimic the shape I like. I knowwww what you’re thinking: “hell naw, I’ve seen this kind of tutorial before.” Trust, it’s gonna get softer than this, I promise.
  4. Fill in the rest of the sparse areas of your brows. Don’t fill in the entire brow for this. Just covering the bald spots will do the trick for a natural brow look.
  5. With the comb end of the pencil, brush through the head of brows upwards to break up the hard line.
  6. Repeat step 5 along the top of the arch.
  7. Take a clean spoolie, and brush through the inner third of the brows horizontally to soften the makeup further.
  8. Ta-da! You are done.

Easy, right? How do you fill in your brows? If you’re struggling to fill in your brows without looking like Sandy Cohen (I can’t even type that without laughing out loud!), hope this tutorial is helpful. Try it out sometime.
