Farewell to June madness

We have visitors from across the Atlantic Ocean. Mother in law and Uncle has flown in all the way from Florida to indulge in Swiss country side and hang out. It is a full house and a full calendar when having three school age children.

What is it with school and all these activities? It is like EVERYTHING has to happen from mid June until the final day of the month; shows, excursions, pool days, birthdays, evaluation conversations, selling cookies events, singing shows, sports days, pic-nics and special outfit days...

And then of course we have Charlie the cat that hurt his paw and needed medical attention and Luca Bo who had his operation. And - by the way - BIG thank you for all your support regarding the operation. It all went super well. He is as good as new. :)

You get it right? I am not lacking activities to fill up my days. Quite the opposite. I am more busy than ever. And counting down. Soon vacation starts and we can have big sleep in mornings, late evenings, lazy days on the beach and lots of ice cream.

And amongst all this June madness the highlights of the month are countless. Memories have been made, we have laughed, we have played and we have been running around bare feet.

Yesterday was the last day of June madness... Now we only have a few more crazy days to go... I'm keeping it together and when Friday arrives: SUMMER! HERE WE COME!
