It's dreary and gross out. My children are napping. My laundry needs to be done.
My dinner needs to be prepped. My floors need a good cleaning. A chapter in my
book (on my new kindle thanks to my mama's handmedown) needs to be read.

I can pretty much think of a million reasons why I shouldn't be sitting here on my butt
right now but rather taking advantage of my short two hour time span of alone/quiet.
Instead I am uploading, sorting through, and editing photos. I feel like I'm losing my touch
with my camera. I haven't picked it up enough lately. Life is just to busy. My hands are to busy.
It's so much easier to whip out my phone and snap a shot than it is to grab my camera, adjust
settings and take a real photo. I hate that. And it's gotta change! I have a little boy, and he
WILL get a one year scrapbook just like his big sisters. I am determined on that.

That being said, here is a photo dump for your viewing pleasure.

Last weekend we threw a little shower for my sister who is getting ready to birth her third baby.
Little Ida Violet is due at the end of July and I can't wait to snuggle on another little hairy headed,
newborn niece. If all goes as planned, and I can make it on time, I will be at the birthing center (!!)
snapping some photos and doing my best to be the encouragement my sister will need. Say some
prayers for her if you think about it!

What else is going on in my life? A whole lotta this. Kids, kids, kids. It's a lot of work raising babies.

Wishing myself back to this day...beautiful clear skies, sun shining, crystal clear water, happy kids...
AHHH! Come on weather! I can only handle so many days of the gray before I start feeling moody.
