Style Inspiration: Summer Work Chic

While many people have the opportunity to take vacations during the summer months, and with August just around the corner for Europe the grand holiday getaway is about to begin, most of us still have to brave the high temps while simultaneously looking professional and appropriate for work. So today I thought I’d pull together a few options for looking work chic, but also being warm weather appropriate. After all, a stroll during our lunch break to eat al fresco could always be in the cards. Enjoy!

A tunic of kaftan top is a über comfortable approach for looking stylish, yet also remaining cool and comfortable. The key is to remember to keep proportions in mind. Since the tunic is usually loose, pair with a more form fitting bottom – thus the cropped skinny jeans. Add a blocked heel a simple day clutch, and you’re set for strolling, lunch or anything you prefer during the summer months.
