The eagerly anticipated September fashion issues are beginning to arrive in mailboxes, and I’ve already carved out an afternoon later this month to dive in completely uninterrupted. Perhaps a bit of a guilty pleasure, but when it comes to navigating the trends, deciding what to invest in, what to save on and, let’s be honest, what to ignore, this is time well spent.

As many readers already know, on September 1st, subscribers to TSLL weekly newsletter receive the annual Fall Shopping Guide which dissects the seasonal trends and based on the premise of building a capsule wardrobe, discerns which trends are worth investing in and which should be purchased without breaking the bank.
