Decor Inspiration: Clooney’s English Sanctuary

When George Clooney wed human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin last month in Venice, it was hard to be envious that such a coveted bachelor was off the market as Amal’s accomplishments, sense of quiet self-assurance and we can’t forget her impeccable style seem to be an ideal match. And so, as the rumors begin about their potential real estate purchase just 37 miles from London, I wanted to have a glimpse inside. Located along the Thames, this 10 bedroom 17th century Georgian mansion is on its own private island of 5.5 acres and with a recently remodeled kitchen, it is the grounds that surround the architecture that I am smitten with.
