China Glaze Meet Me Under The Stars

I couldn’t think of a more appropriate polish to post on this lovely shopping day. It’s black. It’s sparkly. It’s everything Black Friday is supposed to be.

Meet Me Under The Stars is part of the 2014 Twinkle holiday collection from China Glaze. But, I actually first saw this polish mentioned in a piece by Lauren Conrad on Refinery29. It immediately went on my Nail Polish Wishlist Pinterest board. And I must say, I’m kind of in love.

This is my kind of holiday polish. Meet Me Under The Stars is mostly black and silver glitter with some blue glitter thrown in the mix all suspended in a sheer black base. The glitter is on the fine side and is not sparse. I used three coats in my swatches and had a fully opaque finish.

I absolutely adore this polish. It’s a nice change from all the metallic, green and red polishes that are so popular this time of year. Plus, this absolutely comes alive in the sun.
