Tidal Wave is a gorgeous bright cobalt blue creme. The color is absolutely gorgeous and it’s a bright enough blue so even in low lighting it looks blue.
Now, regarding the formula. This is the third polish from Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel line I’ve used and I, quite frankly, didn’t have good luck with either of the other 2 polishes. My review of Hydro Electric was less than positive. But, I did have better luck with Tidal Wave.
For my swatches I used 3 (thin) coats of Tidal Wave and topped it with 1 coat of the Miracle Gel Top Coat. The drying time is slow. But, this manicure did fully dry after an hour or so. And, I didn’t have any of the self leveling issues I was experiencing with other polishes from this line.
Overall, I was very happy with this manicure and the Miracle Gel line. Granted, I still didn’t find the wear time to be stellar and the top coat dulls after several days. But as far as I’m concerned the color makes up for all of that.

You can find the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel line at Ulta. The polishes retail for around $10.
