My Experience with Make up For Ever #43 Moulin Rouge Lipstick :
It is rather hard to believe that this is my first Make up For Ever lipstick. I have tried a lot of other makeup from MUFE but never gave lipsticks a shot. Well, better late than never.
I picked up this beauuutiful Moulin Rouge #43 lipstick. It is a deep red lipstick slightly on the cooler side. I am OBSESSED!
- It is suuper pigmented.
- The color is such that it would be very flattering on almost all skin tones. It instantly adds brightness to the face.
- It is creamy without being too creamy.
- It goes on evenly without dragging or tugging.
- The finish is satiny.
- It stays on for good 6 hours and still leaves a satin behind. It stays put so well after the meals.
- I love wearing it with a plum pencil underneath but on its own as well it is a beautiful shade of red.
- It does not dry out on lips.
- It does not settle in fine lines of lips.
- Does not smear or feather. I would still suggest that if you are wearing it for a very long time, you wear a lip pencil underneath. Always a good idea.
- The packaging is super lightweight and lipstick closes with a satisfying click.
- Does not have a taste but has a mild non-bothering fragrance.
- It transfers easily but honestly, I’d forgive that.
I might be nitpicking but the only drawback i find is that because of the shape of the bullet, I find it hard to get the edges. So either I use a lip pencil underneath or use a lip brush.
But that’s about it. I am incredibly happy with this lipstick. I almost regret not trying out the range before. Pure love. Must try!!
