Chanel New Moon Illusion D'Ombre: Swatches and Review

I am huge fan of Chanel's cream eyeshadow formula. It has a light, sponge-like texture with beautiful complex shimmer.
New Moon is a glittery copper color with large sparkles. The texture is less refined than some of the other Illusion D'Ombres I own.
New Moon doesn't have much of a base color. It is full of gorgeous multicolored chunks of sparkle- no subtlety here.
I do experience some fall out under the eye as the day progresses. I might be able to live with that since New Moon gives such a lovely effect on the eyes.

It looks similar to some of my other Illusion D'Ombres in the pot, but swatches show the differences better.

Ebloui has more red and is less glittery. Fatal has a purplish tone with blue shimmer. Initiation is a true gold.

To apply Illusion D'Ombres, I pat a layer over my eyeshadow with my finger.
This is the same look I did yesterday with New Moon added over the lid.

Overall, New Moon is lovely. The color is perfect and the sparkle is eye catching. The fallout is a small drawback, but I absolutely love New Moon otherwise.
