Emma Reddington

you make it: feather wreath

I have to admit I always feel a little better when the front of my house is looking its best. It doesn’t take much. A seasonal plant in the urn (ferns in the summer, mums in the fall, evergreens in the winter and pussy willows in the spring) and every now and then a little something extra. Maybe it’s a few pumpkins or pretty summer flowers. I love the idea of putting a wreath up on my door outside of the holiday season. Something like this…

We (well, actually our lovely former intern Andrea Zadro) made this lush feather wreath for the November issue of Chatelaine. The complete instructions are available here.

A cute way to feather you nest!
