There are some things I've been meaning to tell you.

Look familiar?

This image inspired not just my last post, but the purchase of the necessary color contrasting item to make it happen. I had the kimono. This picture provided the sole reason for my purchase of that color of tights, specifically to be worn with said kimono.

I came across this label because of a friend sharing (Dion Lee) pictures from Oyster magazine. Next thing I'm looking at this profile/interview about Verner.

I wanted to share these images because, well, look at them. They are pretty nice.

I got up from my bed at 1:19am to write these thoughts, and to publish them to the internet, because I like this blog. I apologize to those of you who come here day after day, and then later just every week or month or so, only to see the same old post from over a whole month ago. What a disappointing page load.

But also, I do not apologize. Because to do this with regularity, whether that means 3 times a month or 3 times a week, is to make this a regular part of life, and thus a part of the labor that I give of myself. For me, there is no necessity to do this at regular intervals. It's not as if I need, as all regular labor demands, to maintain some bottom line - whether for myself or some others who want bottom lines to be maintained. I have no such needs or desires that blogger fulfills.

What I value is the vague sense of several of you out there, liking something about this, plus a handful of you that I know really exist for sure and like me. And I value this solely for myself, too. And for when things happen here that we can both enjoy. I especially appreciate those of you who read the writing parts. Because that is in fact what I am doing with my life.

I have so much more I want to give. I have a series on expression and individuality drafted in my head that I want to share with you. I want to show you pictures again, and to be able to do all the things I want to do at a level of quality I believe they are worth. To do so, I sometimes have to ignore all of the internet for a long time.
