Hero Light by Buster + Punch

Who couldn't use a hero every now and then, someone to save us from the bland grasp of minimalism, sweep us off our feet and carry us into the night? Newly-launched British interiors brand Buster Punch is promising to do just that with the Hero Light, set to debut on January 28th.

Inspired by blacksmiths of the past, the aptly-named Hero is hand forged of 3mm bronzed gun metal, solid knurled brass soaked in olive oil and matte rubber detailing. A choice of teardrop or cabochon LED bulbs (I vote for cabochon) offer the finishing touch, mounted around the edges of the chandelier or hanging from the center. The investment piece will retail for £1,200.

As with all of Buster Punch's products, the Hero Light is designed and fashioned by Massimo Buster Minale, an award-winning architect and interior designer who left it all behind to launch his passion project in 2012. The designer now creates everything from lighting and furniture to motorcycles and leather jackets in his East London workshop.

Looks like Superman better watch his back!
