Our Temporary Tel Aviv Apartment

(all photos via Airbnb)
As I mentioned last week, I didn't find a loft in Tel Aviv, but I did find a pretty sweet furnished apartment for our first couple of months there. Since my husband's company is giving us a generous stipend for two months of temporary housing while our furniture find its way to us by boat, we were able to go all out on this uber-modern three-bedroom/three-bath just steps from the beach.

The only problem? No permanent apartment within our budget is going to match up to the likes of this!

Dinner party, anyone? This dining table is the closest we will ever get to accommodating Mr. Catwalk's huge Israeli family.

The master suite already has our current one beat, with a king size bed that trumps our queen.

It may sound strange, but bathrooms are the most important thing to me in any apartment, and this master bath is just beyond! My fingers will turn to prunes in that tub, mark my word.

My parents are already taking advantage of this guest bedroom with a two-week visit in February (because two months away from each other is a month and three weeks too long in the Berenson family).

The rest of you better book your guest bedrooms now! ;)
