Thanksgiving & Clothes.

It's that time of year you guys! Things are just so fun and it is just so cold outside! We went to my parents house this Thanksgiving and decided to leave Greyer there for the week while we came home and went to a Blazer game and a could Christmas parties. But it's just weird being away from baby during this season-- it doesn't feel right! We even went and cut down our Christmas tree yesterday without him, which was probably for the best (he's in between the crawling/walking phase meaning I would've had to hold him the whole time) but he's just at such a fun age that it feels like something is missing when he's not around : ) Ian and I have been enjoying each other though.

A couple things I want to note about my outfit (that I wore to a Thanksgiving weekend wedding):

1. I've been looking for some over-the-knee heeled boots that aren't $800 and I found them! I have worn them so much already and I've only had them for a week! They are the Raphael boot from Charles by Charles David (not as fancy as it sounds) and were less than $50. Now my legs can stay warm even in a mini skirt!

2. Another item I'd been wanting forEVER was a contrast sleeve coat like the one above. I couldn't find one I loved last year (they all seemed to have bedazzled shoulders) but when I saw this one from Persun Mall.com I just snatched it right up! Although the contrast sleeve is a trend from last year, the boxy shape of this particular coat is so modern. The best of both worlds! I've ordered items from oversees before and haven't been impressed with the quality, but this coat has quilted lining and I just feel like I'm wrapped in an army blanket of sorts when I wear it : )

Oh! Also, I got my hair lightened. The dark just wasn't "me" but I had to try it to figure it own for myself lol. I am on my way back to the ashy/light brown that God gave me holla!
