Boots. Don’t we all love them! When I was a trend conscious youngster, I had to be bang on trend with other popular kids at school, I often beg my mum in desperation until she finally gave in a dozen times. It was my early experience of indulgence and my early love of fashion. I do remember my first pair boots when I was a wee young chubby child, it was a slouchy red possibly pleather leather boots with half an inch block heels, they were very popular in the mid 80s.
Fast forward to year 2014, I have amassed a collection of boots since I bought my first pair from Kurt Geiger in Brent Cross 13 years ago, paid with my hard-earned money, they were expensive in my time! From then onwards I’ve had all types of boots from hiking/trekking boots, DR Martens punk lace ups, shoot boots, ankle, calf, knee, over the knee, to thigh high boots. I have 3 younger sisters and they are of course style conscious, I’m so fortunate and lucky that I’ve never shared or loaned my shoes to my sisters, vice versa. Why? That’s because I have the largest feet in the family!
