Like Shooting Stars

I had such a great day off from work. My boyfriend and I took a quick road trip to Tanger Outlet Mall in Gonzales, which is not too far from Baton Rouge. They had some pretty insane sales. I left with 2 pairs of heels for work and a pair of running shoes. Since I knew we would be doing a lot of walking, I wore a pretty comfortable outfit. Nothing too fancy, but still daytime chic. We made it back to Baton Rouge just in time to snap these pictures before it started to rain. So glad it didnt rain for long b/c we had plans to meet up with friends downtown to watch the fireworks. We had such a fun time laughing, drinking coronas, and watching the fireworks light up the sky over the Mississippi River. It was the perfect ending to a great day! How did you spend the 4th?
