Food: Homemade Salmon Salad with Homemade Salad Dressing

So after a great deal of neglect, my ‘Mind, Body, Soul’ section of this blog is back in swing! This section will document different dishes I make with recipes, workout up dates, books I have read, as well as other things that help to feed the mind, body and soul.

Hope you enjoy this re-addition to my blog (“,). Today’s dish (I actually made this today) is a simple homemade smoked salmon salad, with homemade salad dressing.

Ingredients:

Salad Dressing

  1. 1 -1/2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  2. 1 Tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice (or Lemon)
  3. Sea Salt
  4. Ground Black Pepper
  5. Garlic Granules
  6. Mint

Salad

  1. 4 x Cherry Tomatoes
  2. 2 x Spring Onions
  3. Bowl of Green Leafs
  4. 2 x Eggs
  5. Half a Chilli Pepper
  6. 50g Smoked Salmon

Instructions

  • Put eggs on stove to boil
  • Whisk lime juice and olive oil together to
  • Add black pepper, sea salt, mint and garlic to taste
  • Continue whisking for a minute or so and then leave to stand.
  • While eggs are boiling, chop tomatoes, spring onions and chilli
  • Shred Smoked Salmon
  • Wash Green Leaves
  • Toss , green leaves, tomatoes, chilli and spring onion up together in a bowl
  • Remove eggs from stove and run directly under cold water for a few minutes (this makes it easier to remove the shell)
  • Peel eggs and chop in half
  • Pour salad into your desired serving dish
  • Add smoked salmon to the top
  • Add eggs
  • Sprinkle some black pepper
  • drizzle desired amount of your salad dressing
