A wish list (Christmas presents inspiration)

Every birthday and every Christmas again I need to ponder the question “whatever shall I ask?” For some reason people like to ask you about your deepest desires when those dates are approaching on the calendar. I never know what to answer though! There is nothing I really need.

This year I decided to make a wish list. No, this is not a subtle-but-actually-not-so-subtle way to ask my boyfriend to buy this stuff for me, I just thought it would be fun to look around and who knows, maybe you’ll get some inspiration for your wish list as well! Or, maybe you see something on this list that would be a great present for someone else. Christmas for me is about family, but I also reallllly like to buy gifts for my loved ones.

The things on this list are a little bit expensive (well, most of them anyway), but there are always some cheaper alternatives to be found. For example: that leather handbag is pretty pretty pretty. It’s pricetag? Not so much! Yet I’m convinced there is another leather bag that looks at least a little bit like it and which is more in my price range ;-)

Anyway, here they are.

1 What Katie Ate – I spotted this one in the bookstore and it looked amazing! 2 A subscription to Time Magazine or De Groene Amsterdammer – both very cheap if you’re a student. 3 Scented Candle by Sissy Boy – Yup, a scented candle. I can’t help it, I’m a sucker for scented candles. This one is from Sissy Boy in the scent “White tea”. You pay 15 euro for a candle, but it’s totally worth it. Trust me. 4 Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion. My favourite! Until I have the funds to buy this again, I’ll just use my moisturizer by Sans Soucis Naturkosmetik (which I love as well!), but this one is awesome. 5 A simple gold necklace. I’ve been looking for one for ages and this one I found on Etsy. 6 Brown Leather Bag – A business-like handbag, for going to uni or other serious stuff. This one is a bit expensive… I hope to find something more affordable. 7 Chloé Eau de Parfum. Don’t think I have to explain this one. 8 Karlsson Book Clock. Fell in love when I spotted this over at V&D (a dutch store). You can also make this one yourself (great DIY gift!).

A final note, just to clarify: I did not get paid for this post nor do I use affiliate links, these are my own finds! :)
