Eight Takes on Healthy Winter Snacking.



Do you ever find yourself in a food rut? Especially during winter, I have the hardest time staying away from constantly munching on bread and chocolate - it just feels so darn comforting, doesn't it? So, if like me, you need a little inspiration to get yourself back onto the healthy track, you should check out Jessica Seinfeld's Instagram feed. This woman posts the healthiest, easiest, beautiful-looking and yummiest breakfast and snack ideas. I've been making those 8 on the loop and they not only keep me healthy but also help when you feel low on energy.

Starting with my absolute favourite above, an avocado drizzled with lime and pink Himalayan salt with a side of pomegranate, pink grapefruit, and a scoop of pure peanut butter.

Omega 3 "breakfast salad" full of walnuts, flax seeds, chia seeds, pomegranate, toasted coconut chips, raspberries and blackberries. Topped with ground nutmeg and cinnamon and a drizzle of honey.

Grapefruit, blueberries and an avocado with a pinch of Maldon salt on the side of a poached egg, almonds and walnuts that were quickly toasted with cinnamon.

Satsuma clementine with Brazil nuts, pumpkin seeds and blueberries.

Grapefruit and pomegranate mixed with berries, roasted pumpkin seeds, sliced almonds and hemp seeds.

Pear or apple slices topped with quickly toasted sesame seeds and nutmeg with a squeeze of lime and a side of walnuts and raspberries.

Bowl of oatmeal mixed with 1/4 cup of shredded apple, some sliced almonds, hemp seeds, a drizzle of maple syrup and a dash of cinnamon.

Plate of apples drizzled with raw almond butter, sprinkled with nutmeg, with a side of a few spiced Brazil nuts and walnuts, topped with dried coconut chips and a few sections of clementine.
