Fan Reaches Out To Bassnectar Via E-Mail And A New Collaboration Is Born

Bassnectar has been known to do things a little different, one area that specifically sets him apart is how in tune he is with his massive fan base. Where some producers are far-away unreachable figures, the latest song from Bassnectar was actually born from a fan literally reaching out to the producer's e-mail and sending him tracks.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Bassnectar told about how "a lot of fans send me music, either tipping me off to songs they want me to remix, asking for production tips or to see if I want to collaborate."

Craz, an aspiring producer out of New York, sent something that hit the massive producer in just the right way. "I could hear a lot of ways that his ideas could be more explosive and complete and asked if he wanted to team up on that song."

The result is a track that goes back to the older roots of Bassnectar, surly to make many long time bassheads happy as it is full of reggae-styled vocals, powerful synths and of course loads of bass. The track, "Thursty" has been released as the only orignal on the brand new Noise vs Beauty remixes album available now. You can also catch Bassnectar as he continues on his North American tour that has followed a sold out stop at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York earlier this month.
