Live At Leeds 2013: What To Expect


So we’re pretty excited about Live At Leeds hitting the city come May 3rd-6th this year. And I’ll tell you why. 1) Savages. are. playing. Enough said. 2) Awesome venues across Leeds, favorites are the now newly refurbished Nation of Shopkeepers. Brudenell is always alot of fun and then there’s Trinity Church, next to the newly opened shopping area Trinity Leeds. 3) Over a 100 bands including Savages (to re-iterate point no. 1) also Menace Beach whom I’ve always been meaning to catch: (Menace Beach - Drop Outs) 4) MUST, the band with probably the most unsearchable band name on Google ever but with great shoegaze-y summery sounds to die for: (Must - Die For You) 5) Witch Hunt, whom we’ve been following for awhile via Death Rattle: (Witch Hunt - Crawl) (can I just say I’m quite gutted these guys are not playing at Trinity Church? The setting would have been perfect!) 6) Tickets are only £22.50! For 100 bands more that works out to less than 30p per band??!! Amaze! Get them (the tickets, not the bands) here. 7) An ace skill and idea sharing workshop/conference for musicians and enthusiasts called The Unconference, back for its 4th installment (...)
