Since I've been making some major changes with my hair recently I've been looking for new ways to play with my almost dirty hair (
since my usual side braid isn't going to cut it anymore because of the lack of length). Let's be real, I'm never in a rush to wash my hair but having bangs makes it difficult to hold out for more than 3 days. We have a very love hate relationship my bangs and I. Usually after the first day if they're looking heavy, off they go into a braid. But, it's starting to get a little dull just braiding the bangs off to the side.
So, when I teamed up with Garnier to create a look, I immediately knew it was going to be targeted towards my two day old hair and my pesky bangs, with a good amount of texture. Which obviously meant reaching for
Garnier's De-Constructed Line, most importantly De-Constructed Texture Tease (their new dry touch finishing spray. Guys, it's magic). So with that being said, I created two looks to double up on for those days that you're just not in the mood to wash & re-style.
First, off I started with day old waves (feel free to touch them up with your wand) and gave them a little tease.
Next, came the braids and a spritz or two of Garnier De-Constructed Texture Tease to give a little holding and reworking power.
Pull the two braids loosely to the back of your head and pin into place. Spritz a little more Texture Tease and Voila! A little Retro and a lot volume. Now, sometimes half up just wont cut it. So, with a few alterations and additions we can throw it into a messy low bun to give it a whole new look.
Pull the remaining hair into a low pony tail, twist and pin. Voila! Garnier De-Constructed Texture looks, times two.
Pssst. Garnier is giving away a $500 Visa Gift card for their "Gotta Have That Hair" Sweepstakes. Just pin your hair-spiration and tag #garniersweeps to enter!
