Ik had een duidelijke missie: juwelen – meer bepaald kettingen – met een tropisch kantje shoppen. Wegens een zon/zee/strand vakantie in het vooruitzicht en het plotselinge gevoel à la “help-ik-heb-niet-genoeg-juwelen” (één blik op mijn muur vol kettingen en dat blijkt duidelijk onzin te zijn, maar toch). Twee perfecte vintage sieraden vond ik online bij VintageStore.
I had a clear mission: shopping jewels – read: necklaces – with a tropical twist. Because of a sun/sea/beach holiday in a few weeks and the sudden feeling à la “help-I-do-not-have-enough-jewelry” (one look at my “wall of fame” and that appears to be clearly nonsense). I found two perfect necklaces online at VintageStore.
Blauw. Ik geraak niet van mijn verslaving af. Of het nu oogschaduw, kleding of juwelen zijn: ik hou van blauw (en dat is een understatement). Ik heb al een blauw exemplaar met grote bollen en een opvallend exemplaar met verschillende tinten blauw. Een fijn & klein exemplaar ontbrak nog. Tot nu. En het heeft de mooiste kleurschakeringen ooit. Voilà.
Blue. I can not get rid of my addiction. Whether it is eyeshadow, clothing or jewelry: I love blue (and that is an understatement). I already have a chunky blue necklace and one with different shades of blue. A fine and small piece was missing. Up to now. And it has the most beautiful colors ever. Voilà.
Dan mijn grote favoriet: zijn die papegaaien in combinatie met dat hout niet perféct? Een mooi strandjurkje erbij, een cocktail in de hand,… Winner! De blauwe ketting was te koop aan €5, het houten exemplaar was €9.90. Naast juwelen kan je op VintageStore ook kleding én woondecoratie vinden. Happy shopping!
Then my absolute favorite: parrots combined with wood – isn’t that just perfect? Combined with a beautiful beach dress and a cocktail in hand, … Winner!
