Lush Oatifix

De verse gezichtsmaskers van Lush waren voor mij onbekend terrein. Maar net zoals bij de Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner, blijkt dit tot één van de Lush toppers te behoren. Dus besloten we er eentje uit te proberen. Het werd Oatifix.

The fresh face masks from Lush were an unknown territory to me. But just like the Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner, this appears to be one of the top Lush products. So we decided to try one out. Hello Oatifix.

Havermout, amandel, banaan en boter. Dat zijn de belangrijkste ingrediënten van Oatifix. Kalmerend, scrubbend, verzachtend en voedend zijn dan weer de fijne eigenschappen van dit heerlijke “ontbijt”. Het aanbrengen van het masker verloopt dan weer niet zo vlotjes, wegens heel wat chunky stukjes. Gelukkig: eens op je gezicht blijft alles netjes plakken. Of zoals vriendlief het verwoord: het lijkt alsof je net een duik hebt genomen in koekjesdeeg. Klinkt geweldig, niet?

Oatmeal, almond, banana and butter. These are the main ingredients of Oatifix. Calming, scrubbing, soothing and nourishing are the features of this delicious “breakfast”. The application of the mask is quite a procedure, because of the chunky pieces all over the place. Happy: once on your face, the mask stays where it needs to be. Or as The Boyfriend says it: it looks like you’ve just taken a dip in cookie dough. Sounds great, right?

Het is de bedoeling dat je het masker als een soort kuur gebruikt, gezien de korte houdbaarheid van de verse ingrediënten. Dat wil zeggen: twee keer per week een heerlijk geurend me-time moment. Dat vinden we helemaal niet erg… Mijn huid voelt zacht en gehydrateerd aan na gebruik. Hoera! Ik ben alvast aan het nadenken wat het volgende masker gaat worden… Cupcake? Brazened Honey? Aanraders zijn welkom!
