The most expensive months are coming
Ik heb een zwak voor al die mooie Limited Edition collecties in de parfumerie . En ik wil een maandloon besteden aan glinsterende spulletjes op Zalando. En damn, ik heb nieuwe lenzen nodig wil ik geen prikkende ogen hebben tijdens het kerstdiner. En Roosje verdient eigenlijk wel een nieuw, lekker warm nestje. En dan moet ik nog enkele kussenslopen kopen, liefst in één of ander aaibaar materiaal. November en december zijn de meest dure maanden van het jaar, laat dat duidelijk zijn. Cadeautjes voor familie, vrienden én voor jezelf (dat verdien je écht). Hoe fijn de eindejaarsperiode ook mag zijn, mijn portefeuille is heel wat minder happy.

And damn, I need new lenses if I don’t want to suffer from burning eyes during Christmas dinner. And Roosje actually deserves a new, warm cat bed. And I need to buy some pillowcases, preferably in some cuddly material. Let it be clear: November and December are the most expensive months of the year. Gifts for family, friends ánd for yourself (you earn it!). How cozy the holiday season may be, my bank account is a lot less happy.
Er bestaat een oplossing die de pijn wat verzacht: websites met kortingscodes. De meeste varianten mijd ik als de pest wegens extreem lelijk en irritant (ik ben op dat gebied heel erg visueel ingesteld. Lees: lelijke website? Veel ads? Weg ermee!). Maar ik moet toegeven: tegenwoordig bestaan er heel wat van dergelijke website die er én goed uitzien én een enorm aanbod aan goede kortingscodes in het assortiment hebben zitten. Zet zo’n site onmiddellijk bij je bookmarks, want zeer handig om al die kortingen direct bij de hand te hebben tijdens online shopping spree. Ik koop 95% van mijn kerstcadeaus online, dus zijn kortingen meer dan welkom.
There is a solution that mitigates the pain: websites with discount codes. I avoid most of these sites like the plague because: A. extremely ugly and B. annoying ads (I am very visually oriented. Read: ugly website with a dozen ads? Bye bye!). But I must admit: today, there are a lot of discount websites out there that look good and have a huge amount of discount codes in their range. Bookmark such a site immediately, because it is very useful to have all these discounts at hand during your online shopping spree. I buy 95% of my Christmas gifts online, so discounts are more than welcome.
