Green is my absolute favorite color of all time, and has been for as long as I can remember. (When I was in high school, I had a lime green puff coat that I wore with everything. Don’t judge. It was cute! Lol.) I never stopped to think about why I love the color green so much, but after googling the psychology of green, it makes complete sense. Green is the color of freshness, renewal, and tranquility…and obviously, it’s the color that represents nature. And, when it comes to fashion, green brings that same sense of organic freshness to a look. I guess that’s why I’ve always loved it so much! As I browse through the Spring 2014 trend reports, I am instantly drawn to all things green — from green t-strap sandals paired with cotton candy pastels at Burberry (YES!), to green safari inspired separates at Michael Kors (double YES!). Move over pink, and step aside yellow…green is so obviously the color of spring!
