Sheinside Chunky Knit Cardigan (I Love It!) (The Fashionista Next Door)

Happy Day before Thanksgiving!!! I don’t really have much to share. Still busy as ever at the full-time job, but also finding my way back to blogging. I have all these amazing ideas, and just need to find the time to make them happen! In the meantime, I’m still obsessing over shoes, playing dress up, and taking pictures of my outfits. Lol. I just want to say THANK YOU to all of you who have been loyal readers over the years. You tolerate my periods of absence, and you always have nothing but kind words when I return. You, my cyber-friends, keep me going and I appreciate ya!

Okay, enough of the sappy stuff…can we talk about this chunky cardigan? It was a gift from Sheinside, and I’m soooo happy I finally gave them a try. I’d seen their stuff on lots of other blogs, but it always takes me a while to try a new international brand. I have to say I am REALLY pleased with the quality of this sweater. The knit is thick, soft, and warm…all the things a sweater should be, right? And, the leather trim and gold zippers are such fabulous details…they really give the cardigan a more luxe, expensive look and feel. You’d never guess this sweater was only $33!

Okay, one more thing — can we also talk about how pretty these photos are? I mean, the trees and the leaves, and the autumn color palette. I just LOVE Georgia in Fall. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Toshe and I took these pictures really late in the afternoon, and we were literally chasing the sun as it was going down. We weren’t sure we’d have enough light to pull it off, but they turned out so pretty. The sun setting gave us this really moody backdrop that I just love. So, should out to Toshe for not letting me give up on the lighting…she was like, “no, I think we can make it work” and I’m so glad I listened.
