Charlotte Tilbury Sweet Stiletto Lip Lustre ($22.00 for 0.12 fl. oz.) is a medium, true coral with warm undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. NARS Ophelia (P, $26.00) is more shimmery, pinker. NARS Stolen Kisses (P, $26.00) is less glossy. MAC Be Nice (P, $22.00) is similar. Urban Decay Streak (P, $20.00) is sheerre. MAC Persistent Peach (P, $19.50) is lighter. MAC Everlasting Nude (LE, $19.50) is darker. Chanel Mystery (P, $29.50) is lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
The Lip Lustre formula is supposed to give “mirror-shine” and “the illusion of sculpted, 3-dimensional, (and a) voluptuous pout.” On the brand’s website, it also says “pure, un-adulterated colour in an XXL creamy texture.” I also watched her video announcing the prdouct, and it seems like it is supposed to be a more pigmented product–lacquer not lip gloss. It had semi-opaque color coverage that went on fairly evenly, and it had a lightly thick but not heavy consistency that was mostly non-sticky. It had a vanilla scent and was comfortable to wear. Sweet Stiletto lasted for four hours on me and it was lightly hydrating while worn. I was disappointed to see that the gloss only contains 0.12 fl. oz. of product, which is about half the size of most full-sized glosses, though the price seems to reflect this (compared to the lipstick, which is priced at $32).
