Last Minute Stocking Stuffers from Burt’s Bees!

Burt’s Bees lip balm has been a staple in my makeup bag for at least ten years. No matter how many other lip balms I have tried, I always come back to Burt’s Bees. When Cindy asked me to review their Tint ‘n Shine gift set For fa la la la la lips, $9.99, I was more than a little excited, after all, I am a big Burt’s fan.

This cute little gift set comes in two versions, Pink and Red. Each set includes a tinted lip balm and a lip shine. I was lucky enough to review the very adorably packaged Red set. The Red Tint ‘n Shine set includes a Red Dahlia lip balm, and a Pucker lip shine.

The Red Dahlia lip balm is packaged in a cardboard tube, which provides more detail about the product. Like all of Burt’s Bees tinted lip balms, Red Dahlia provides just a hint of color that cares for your lips. In this case, the color is a hint of berry, which is perfect for the holidays, or all year long.

This 100% natural balm also helps to moisturize lips and leave them feeling extremely hydrated. We could all use a little extra hydration on our lips, especially during the dry fall/winter months.

The second product in the set is the Pucker lip shine. This 100% natural lip shine is designed to be very moisturizing, while delivering sheer color and sweet shine for naturally beautiful lips. I loved the sheer berry pink color of Pucker, but not the smell of the product. Unlike the balm, the lip shine has a very strong fruity chemical smell. I’m not sure what causes this, but it definitely was way too strong for me.

According to the Burt’s Bees website, the Lip Shine and Tinted Lip Balm can be worn layered or separately for that little extra bit of holiday polish. I must confess, I never would have thought to mix the two, but after trying it out, I can see why they would suggest it. My lips felt extremely moisturized and looked fa la la la la fabulous.

Bottom line: At just under $10, the Tint ‘n Shine gift set makes a perfect little gift for almost anyone on your list. The packaging is minimal, but well suited for the brand, and the products in the set provide beautiful color and hydration.
