IsaDora Sugar Nails Pastels Nail Art

Yesterday I got some really exciting nail mail as the IsaDora's Finnish importer sent me IsaDora spring Sugar Nails pastel polishes for review. The collection is called Spring Candy and it consists five soft and shimmering pastel textured Sugar Nails lacquers. Previously IsaDora called these textured ones Sugar Crush Nails but these are the same stuff, only the name has become a bit shorter. I will post my swatches of all these polishes as soon as possible, but I thought I'd first share with you guys a simple nail art look that I did with four out of the five lacquers. The polishes looked so delicious that I just had to play with them a bit!

I started this manicure with three coats of the sweet pastel pink called Bon Bon. After it was completely dry, I just sponged on randomly the peachy gorgeousness called Peach Nectar, the soft green aptly called Macaron and the light lilac called Cotton Candy. These are a bit sheer ones so I had to sponge them twice, but I really love the soft pastel look that I got!

These nails seem a bit 1990s to me, but in a good way. And isn't that what's in right now? Or is it already out? I really don't know, but I do know that I loved this look on my nails whether it's in or not.

These Sugar Nails (and other textured polishes too) are really perfect for this kind of nail art as it doesn't really matter how you sponge them. You can just pretty much carelessly dab them and the result still looks really nice.

I really love those iridescent bigger glitter pieces in Peach Nectar and I kinda wish all the other polishes in this collection would have those too! But then again, the other three colors are quite beautiful too, even without those bigger glitters.

Like I said, I only used four out of five polishes from this collection for my nail art, the poor yellow one called Lemon Soda was unfortunately left out here. But don't you worry, I will surely post the swatches of that one as well as the other four as soon as I can. I have to say that I love the names of these, they suit the polishes really well!

So from left to right these are: Lemon Soda - soft, yellow, lemony shade.
Peach Nectar - a gorgeous peachy color for your nails, which you can match with one of our lipsticks or lip glosses in peach.
Macaron - soft turquoise shade that reminds you of the French macarons in bright pastel colors.
Bon Bon - pastel pink, lovely on your nails.
Cotton Candy - the perfect lilac pastel for your nails.

Sain IsaDoran maahantuojalta todella mieluista postia eilen, kun IsaDoran keväiset Sugar Nails tekstuurilakat saapuivat luokseni testattaviksi. Teen näistä kyllä varsinaiset swatchitkin ja julkaisen ne täällä mahdollisimman pian, mutta sävyt olivat niin herkullisen näköisiä, että niillä piti päästä leikkimään heti. Teinkin siis pikaisen manikyyrin, jossa käytin neljää lakkaa kokoelman viidestä lakasta.
Lakkauksen aloitin levittämällä kolme ohutta kerrosta Bon Bonia, ihanaista hempeän vaaleanpunaista lakkaa. Kun se oli kuivunut täysin, töpöttelin sienellä persikkaista Peach Nectaria, vihreää Macaronia ja lilaa Cotton Candya satunnaisesti jokaiseen kynteen. Nämä ovat sen verran ohuita ja hempeitä värejä, että kävin kynnet läpi sienellä kaksi kertaa, jotta sain värit erottumaan paremmin. Tykkäsin kyllä lopputuloksesta ihan hirmuisesti! Kynsistä tuli ihanan pastelliset ja todellakin keväisen näköiset. Tosin niistä tuli myös hieman jotenkin ehkä ysärit, mutta se ei kyllä menoa haitannut, tykkäsin niistä silti tai ehkä jopa sen takia.
Kokoelmaan kuuluu siis näiden neljän lisäksi vielä yksi lakka, keltainen Lemon Soda, joka nyt valitettavasti jätettiin tästä leikeistä ulkopuolelle. Mutta älkää huoliko, kyllä se jatkossa pääsee leikkeihin mukaan!
