Repeat after me.

Repetition is one of the primary principles any young designer will learn. Its crazy powerful. As I was flipping through my most recent issue of Hospitality Design (because I cant get enough hotel design in my brainfiles), and the primary principle almost all the hotels use is repetition. Lots of same thing, over and over. I dont even mean "similar" I mean the same.
