Zizzi "Fashion Has No Size" Fashion Show

Miss Denise Bidot in the spotlight
We saw lots of prints on the runway, but I especially loved the grid pieces that Carina Behrens and Josephine Dahl Christensen were wearing. Also how stunning is my friend Christina Donskov in the navy blue set? I did like the pink set as well, but somehow I just keep seeing Regina George's mom from Mean Girls ("I'm not a regular mom - I'm a cool mom!"). The cut of the top is amazing though.

That grid coat is life, and I need it! Also it looks like we'll all be wearing snakeskin print next spring. I'm still on the fence about it.
I loved this floral print, and especially the long shirt dress. The trench is looking amazing, too - and how about that blue skirt and floral top?! Probably my favourite outfit of the show.
Yellow is making another comeback next spring - especially paired with grey. I really did like the grey stuff, and also the sporty vibe, but I'm still working on the yellow. I really loved the bags though!
More yellow and grey combinations of both W.O.W and regular Zizzi items. I loved Sharon Dumfries look with the yellow W.O.W crop top and grey tracksuit pants!

Here's more from Fashion Week! As most of you may know, Zizzi had another big show. This time it was in the beautiful surroundings of an old church in Copenhagen. Besides being unbearably hot, it was an amazing location for a fashion show. Earlier that day, Zizzi had hosted a blogger event where they had introduced us to the upcoming collections and to their new sublabel called Wardrobe of Wonders, in short: "W.O.W". The capsule collection was designed by Femmes Regionales, who have previously worked with big brands like Baum und Pferdgarten, and it was clear to see that things are changing. The collection is beyond amazing, and I was excited to see it on the runway. Zizzi chose to do a more fashion minded show this time around, more like the "regular" fashion shows, so there was only a short guest performance before the show started - where as there have been several musical breaks during the last two shows. I think that's the right way to go, as I'd love to see plus-size brands being taken just as seriously as "regular" brands, but I was still somewhat suprised when the show ended after just 20 minutes. I guess we all just have to get used to it! However, it was a nice show. The clothes were gorgeous, and there are so many things I can't wait to get my hands on - especially the entire W.O.W collection. Above you'll see some of my favourite outfits. The only thing that kind of bothered me was the styling, because with clothes as gorgeous as these, I would have liked to see better hair and make-up on the models. I also didn't get all the belts and jewelry that the outfits had been styled with, and there were some outfits that I just wasn't a big fan of. But at the end of the day the focus was on the clothes themselves - and they were amazing! I can't wait to style them my own way, which is exactly how it should be. A huge applause to Zizzi from me - they are definitely getting there, and I appreciate the fact that they constantly challenge the boundaries of what is "acceptable" for plus-size women to wear. They are turning into front runners in regards to plus-size fashion, and they are taking responsibility for getting plus-size women's style to the next level. I'm already excited for Fashion Week in February 2015, as I'm sure it'll only continue to get better and better!
