Chilled

There must really be some truth to the claim that your blood thins out after awhile of living in a warm climate. It wasn’t even that cold when we were in New Jersey (30′s and 40′s, yet not a snowflake to be seen) but to me it felt like the polar vortex… cuz that’s a thing now. I don’t think I bought a single winter item for the first 2 or 3 years I lived in LA, but after a few trips back home to MN or the east coast during winter, I realized it was a legitimate priority to make sure my cold weather gear was in order even just for those visits. I’m still in love with this AllSaints coat I scored on epic sale 2 years ago. The beauty of it is that I only get to wear it a couple of times a year so it feels brand new every time. This year the Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots finally made their way into my wardrobe and I cannot stress enough how wonderful they are. To all you girls who are braving subzero temps right now, you deserve to treat yourself to these buttery leather miracles who will keep your legs toasty and chic for years to come.
