Our biggest new years resolution for 2014 was to go on a trip somewhere in the world that we’ve always wanted to go together. We’re not usually huge travelers, as much as we want to be. It’s hard to get away and with both of our families in different parts of the US, our travel allotment tends to be used for trips home. Ian had never been to Italy and nothing makes us happier than good food and wine, so it was kind of a no brainer. I can’t believe how fast the time has gone since we booked it back in May, and now we leave tomorrow. I’m trying my hardest to blast through the to do list and keeping the packing list simple. I’m expecting a whole range of weather in both city and rural destinations, plus I’m a notorious over packer, soI have my work cut out for me. I’m bringing everything in one color palette (black heavy of course) so I can easily mix and match. Also, thanks to everyone who helped me figure out my luggage dilemma! It was helpful to hear about all your favorites. I ended up with this Victorinox one… and a Magic Eraser to throw in it. :) I look forward to sharing more about our trip on here and Instagram.
