Hello Marcus Design readers! I'm Katy Byrne from
DBK: Designs By Katy. I'm here with a little how-to. I love Pinterest. It's such a great resource for interior designers. My current favorite shot is this one from
Traditional Home. Ever look at a Pinterest room with that "oh it's amazing but I could never achieve it" feeling? Think again! Take a minute to break down the key elements and you can easily make your dream room a reality.
To recreate this look, I would begin by painting the walls a soft gray, like Benjamin Moore's Revere Pewter. From there I would aim my focus on the bone inlay console. My favorite version is
this one from Horchow. The ornate detail lends itself to a higher price point, but from there you can add more neutral furnishings and accessories, just like the inspiration shot.
