just did bodily straight & hair looks flat on day 1
Every 6 months, I'll check into a hair salon to upkeep my hair. You know if there's one crappy thing I can't do myself is to maintain my hair. Being a beauty blogger isn't easy, the amount of chemical services your hair undergo will leave you with damaged, dry or frizzy hair. I have not coloured my hair this year, leaving it to grow out. Even chopped off the damage parts in April, so I had short hair for a while. Then I grew it slowly and ended up with brow dip dye "impression" at the ends which turns out to be really cool. In May, I went to
Moonsoon-id at Tropicana City Mall to inquire about hair relaxer. They recommended me the
"bodily straight" service which was a soft rebonding treatment. I hate my hair being overly flat so I was told this was a more natural and manageable rebond. For 50% off I said why not (the promotion at that time). I loved how the hair was naturally straight and soft, I didn't need to comb my hair for months. The minute I wake up my hair looks great haha. Call that the lazy ass girl's guide to having great hair.
OKAY I confessed, I ain't a hair girl who wakes up doing her hair every morning. I suck at styling my own hair and I have bad experience trying all sorts of style so I always stick to au natural looking.
SO it's been 6 months and I decided to go back to the same salon to do the same service again. I've tried all kinds of hair straightening services since I was 17 years old (the only time I started keeping long hair). Rebonding, straightening, relaxer, steam pod straightening, Brazilian Keratin Treatment (which I loved but can't afford this luxury treatment atm), perming, digital perming etc and I learn after all these years, which works and which doesn't. It's also heavily dependent on which salon you do and till now I do not have a regular salon that I trust.
hair stylist said I should wash after 2 days (am so happy to wash, I can't stand not washing)
the hair flip test to see if it looks awesome without combing
(well :D haha not bad wei)
