Black Metal Trees

Hi! I'm currently turbo-loaded with a beastly cold and feeling sorry for myself in my bed, thermal top and 101 Dalmatians pyjama bottoms in tow. As it is September, Autumn is officially HERE and I can't even begin to explain how ecstatic I am. This summer was bitchingly hot and as a Goth-type I don't really fare all that well in hot weather, so I'm fantasising about new purchases, wearing this cold like a badge of autumnal honour, and eagerly awaiting my student grant so I can pick up the rest of my books (swoon) and a few of these babies.
The jumpers I already own as I got them for my staff uniform. The striped one is slightly new territory for me as it is brown(!) which I never wear, but I really liked the grunge aesthetic and it's a lovely swing shape which is flattering. The only problem is I had to get a large as the medium was way too short on the arms, so it's too big everywhere else. >_<' The two finer knits look so perfect with these Next skirts that I may faint. The DP shorts are again part of my wardrobe already, having heralded the end of my search for black denim shorts that are an appropriate length for a human (they were also £12.75 with their awesome 15% student discount – I very rarely shop there but am currently very impressed). I have also been waiting on these Office boots for months now as I loved the H&M ones Hannah has, but they never landed in the Glasgow stores and I did always wish they'd done them in real leather for longevity. They are painful in price, but overtime has been plentiful this summer so I'm going to indulge. Finally yes, that is a Nespresso machine in the corner. Forever tempted.
