Cacao Atlanta Chocolate Company

The great thing about returning to a town that we grew up in is that we have fresh eyes to see our city and a sudden eagerness to be tourist. Over the next few months we will be visiting towns all across America, but for now we want to start sharing some of our favorites from Atlanta and the surrounding area.

Our first stop is in Virginia Highlands, a gorgeous little leafy oasis in the middle of downtown Atlanta. Here you will find Cacao Atlanta Chocolate Company, located among great shops, local restaurants, and tree lined streets where many families call home.

What we love so much about Cacao is that the shop is gorgeous and modern and the chocolates are equally beautiful and tasty. We recommend grabbing a cup of Batdorf & Bronson coffee to accompany your chocolate bar, or if you are feeling a bit devilish, splash out for a rich gelato. Cacao has a high commitment to it’s bean-to-bar philosophy so that every product is created with the highest standards.

If you are in the Atlanta area, we highly recommend popping in for a visit, but if you can’t get your chocolate fix in person, Cacao also has a tempting web shop that has my mouth watering just from taking a peek.
