Maids to Measure and Ciaté London: Pastel Pretty Bridesmaids Dresses and Matching Nail Varnish
Brides, are you in the market for purchasing bridesmaids dresses and if so, are you familiar with the quite brilliant Maids to Measure? For those of you not in the know, Maids to Measure is a really cool concept in bridesmaids fashion. The business was founded by Sisters Sinclair (who’s previous job was as legal council for QVC) and India Sellers, in an attempt to offer brides a more experiential service and memorable occasion when it comes to choosing bridesmaids dresses. The purpose of me blogging today is to share with you a few images from a visit I made to the Maids to Measure Chelsea Studios at the old Gas Works earlier this month, when India and Sinclair were showcasing some of their beautiful new designs - and, had an opportunity to tell me about an exciting new collaboration they have just launched with beauty brand Ciaté London.

The studio itself is bright and airy with tall ceilings and whilst it looks a most unlikely place as you approach from the outside (the studio is set in the Gas Works by the Kings Road in Chelsea), a very warm welcome awaits within.
What I love about Maids to Measure is the choice on offer - if you book an appointment with the Maids to Measure ladies, you can look forward to being able to try on lots of samples and play around with different shaped skirts, sleeves, sashes, fabrics and colours - leaving you choice and flexibility to choose exactly the kind of dress you are looking for.
Lots of pretty pastel shades were on display at the studio - perfect for this time of the year, though Sinclair reliably informed me that navy blue is the most popular colour of the rainbow of hues available.
I was also impressed to hear about a collaboration Maids to Measure have entered in to with Beauty Brand Ciaté London to launch eight new nail varnish shades to match the colour of their gowns. What a simple but brilliant idea!
My personal favourite Maids to Measure design is this beautiful full-sleeved 1930s bias cut number. I just adore it. And the other thing to adore about Maids to Measure is their affordability. For the service and product you receive, paying from £255 per dress is, I personally feel, a very worth while investment.
In throwing their studio and showroom open to the wedding industry press earlier this month, Maids to Measure partnered with Emmy Shoes. Anyone who knows anything about Love My Dress knows I'm a huge Emmy fan girl.
