Decorating: Home Depot Patio Style Challenge

While I'm stuck inside on another pretty snow day I'm working on plans for our patio makeover! I'm SO excited to be part of Home Depot's Patio Style Challenge this year! Keep reading to see why & my inspiration!
I've been watching bloggers makeover their patios with Home Depot for some time and have always wished I could take part. Soooo when I got an email asking if I'd like to be involved I jumped at the chance! Right now our "patio" consists of a slab of broken, drab concrete right outside our door. We have a large yard, but since we are just renting we haven't done much to spruce up the space. I'm so looking forward to sharing this process on the blog and can't wait to have all our friends (and their dogs) over for a big cookout and photo shoot once it warms up! We are planning to address some muddy areas with paving stones gravel and make an outdoor bar/potting station to use all spring and summer long!
Some of my favorite patio makeovers from the past: Chassity's porch- love the color on her big southern porch! Hi Sugarplum's colorful oasis and wooden starburst mirror. brittanyMakes' DIY painted patio floor is awesome. And nothing beats Kristin of The Hunted Interior's amazing makeover - I love all of her work and her patio space certainly doesn't disappoint!
